Patterns of Civilization: the game

A painted world, made from connected interests.

The same interest in history that runs through the essays also led to a strategy game. Patterns of Civilization brought together painted landscapes, historical questions, code and AI-assisted creation. Its art now has another life alongside the Ledger’s civilization stories.
